I recommend anything that talks about the Battle of Franklin. That was a real turning point in the war.

Re: TSS?
We use it. About 4 years ago, I was given some hand loads to try. We setup up our pattern boards and tried them out in a few of our shotguns. It was impressive enough, we made the decision to use it. I already had a lot of the components to load/reload it, so I figured why not. I find enjoyment in t...

I drove 5' t post everywhere the surveyor put a pin down, when I had some property lines shot. I added orange flagging while I was there. The flagging slowly disappears but the posts are there.

I inherited a small Echo CS301, the first of that brand for me. It ran decent when I got it. I tweaked on the fuel mix screw and put a new plug in it. It's one of our favorite saws to use. I liked it enough when I was weed eater shopping this past spring, I bought an Echo brand.

Re: CitiGroup to fire unvaccinated employees
The credit card company charges a fee to the merchant every time you purchase something with the card. The fee will vary from merchant to merchant usually. The merchant builds the cost of accepting credit cards into their prices. Take for example: This past Friday evening my bride and I went to din...

Where again are y’all thinking of hunting? I get excited about squirrel hunting. I’m probably on the wrong side of the state. I’m an hour west of Nashville.

Re: CitiGroup to fire unvaccinated employees
Wished I had a Citibank credit card just so I could cancel the thing. That would show them. :A I have a Citi Bank card. That’s my first thought too, but someone correct me if I’m wrong here. I run everything that I can through it, pay the balance off every month. I average 100 bucks back a month, t...

I’ve got an old bottle of Hoppes #9. I just drop the plug in it and let it sit. Sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a few days. When I decide to clean it I use the above mentioned bits and methods.

While that snow and sleet sure can be a mess to deal with, I’d much rather deal with it than those storms/tornadoes that blew through yesterday. So I say bring on that white stuff!

Not a flooring guy, but have laid several feet of it for family and friends. Now with that said here's my little tid buet of advice, be careful where you step when you're laying it. I stepped on a piece of laminate that I thought was locked in, it wasn't. It slid, I slid with it and ended up with a ...

Re: Anyone watching the bowl games?
I'll watch some of them if I'm sitting down and watching a little TV, but don't go out of my way to watch unless it's the Vols. I caught the last quarter of the Vols and will probably go back and watch some it of it later. I've got a younger cousin who's in The Pride of the Southland Band, so I'd li...

Re: Tennessee vs Purdue
As bad as that call was, it should have never come down to just one play in my opinion. All year long the Vols have been nonexistent in the 2nd quarter, I don't know where they go or what they do, but it ain't play football in the 2nd quarter. 16 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter. You score just ...

My mom meet JFK the day he was shot. He visited her school and her classroom. She didn't know till later that day when she got home from school, until her mom told her the man she'd meet earlier had been assassinated. She was in the first or second grade.

I'm a Union Ironworker by trade. Sometimes I'll have worked for as many as a half dozen contractors in the course of a year. Sometimes I might stay on a project for the whole 12 months. Re: Bearing buddies question
To truly know what's going on inside, a person needs to pull a hub and look. I like the idea behind bearing buddies, but I've repaired a handful of trailers over the years that had the rear seal blown out, because someone just kept pumping the grease to it. For piece of mine, pull each cap and see w...
