98 Honda Fourtrax

Like a dumbyI let it set for a while because the tires went bad and I didn't need it at the time. I thought I'd get on it the other day and try to get it going but couldn't get it to crank. Put a new battery, gas and spark plug on it but it still won't hit. Any ideas what to do next?

Did you clean the jets? That sorrow gas nowadays doesn't take long to stop one up.

See if its getting fire , if it is then most likely gummed up carb .

Fire and fuel, if its getting both it'll at least pop. Did you cut the fuel on, if its getting fuel ro the carb isthe float getting fuel,needle seat cloged or jets.

I haven't checked to see if it's getting fire yet but I will tomorrow. Yea I've got the fuel line on. I'm betting I'm going to have to pull the carb.

Well I finally got it going. I got it to hit on carb cleaner and just continued to spray it in until started running on its on. Runs good now.

Good deal. I have a pushmower that every year no matter if the tank is empty or not, I have to clean the jets.
