Yep, I did go fishing. I just happened to check my TWRA calandar and relaized it was Free Fishing Day yesterday.(This was the first day of a free fishing week) I went over to Victor Ash Park where there is a stocked pond. Although I did have time to catch a couple of catfish and bream I had a wonderful time helping flustered Dads. Yep, I spent most of my time helping distraught, flustered Dads untangle lines, untangle reels, bait hooks, rebait hooks, remove fish, and generally keep my cool whiloe Daddies were loosing theirs. Note to Daddies although an open faced reel looks really cool a push button is even cooler for a kid. Less hassle, less frustration, less tangle and much much easier to use.
I hope I made a kid happy.
Gonna try to take My Kid fishing this week. I hope we can schedule it.
