Remington 742 BDL 308

Post by Jethro »

1971 Remington 742 BDL 308
Its in very good condition and functions as it should. The trigger guard has a few safe dings on it, and the bluing is a little light around the muzzle. The scope is sold, but I will include the rings/bases. Prefer FTF around Knoxville.

Nice! I sold mine about 15 years ago. Would have been this one’s twin! Great gun.

I love those old Remington's.

Please delete....I have decided to keep the ol gun. I like it, and i would never be able to replace it. Im afraid I would regret selling it.
Thanks

I sold the scope off of it. Ive got a vintage Burris Im going to use. Its the first Fullfield. Its also 3-9. Took off those hideous see thru mounts, and found a set of new "old stock" vintage Redfields. Also removed both sights and plugged the holes. Im not good with irons anyway, and now I can mount the scope lower....the way I prefer it.

Should be a solid setup for sure on a solid rifle!

I have a 7400 in .270 and I did have the same thing in a 30-06, but sold it. It is a good one!
