Fishin trip

Post by caretaker »

My hunting and fishin buddy and I got together and did a lil fishin. We sat on the bank of the Clinch from around 6:30 until dark. He drowned a couple of worms and an ear of corn. I offered up that red caviar and some little colorful marshmallows. You would think with a vittles bar we woulda caught one or two but we caught nothing. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just sitting on a river bank enjoying the friendship .
I`m just here for the girl`s wet teeshirt and mud wrestling contest.

Just the trip, worth it almost every time.

There's just something about being on or by a body of water that calms my soul. I can sit over at my son's place and stare at his pond an just let the world roll on by. It's therapy!
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.

Nothing better than setting on the bank drowning a worm, no boat to launch or recover gas oil to fill , just set and relax pick up your chair and fishing gear step over to the truck throw it in and go home or any where you want, no big assed pontoon boat to deal with lmao
