Another Tennessee turkey season is coming to an end

Post by Sackett »

Another turkey season winding down.
Three longbeards (1 with a set of spurs that is in my all time top 2) and 2 coyotes.
On top of that my son was with me on my first one and we had a great hunt working the birds. He was with me on #2 and was the one doing the calling and worked him right into my lap.
I was solo on both coyotes and my last and best turkey.
I called him a long way, he flew part of the way to me then walked right in to the call. 1 & 7/16" spurs!

Congratulations on a great season. I tagged out on turkeys, but didnt get any coyotes. The only one I saw was about 200 out. Now that Im done with the turkeys, I may go setup for yotes with my new 6.5x284. Or, I might just go fishing....who knows!!
