Her first deer!
My youngest granddaughter got her first deer on her first deer hunt down here in Alabama this morning! She used the rifle that I got her Dad 27 years ago to get his first one! NEF 30-30 with the same old long eye relief shotgun scope. Her Dad had been waiting to see this happen for a long time! I am over the moon proud of her!
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.

When my son killed his first one with that same rifle I had the little doe's hide tanned. He has it on a wall in his house. He told the processor to send this hide to be tanned so the full tradition carries on
