6.8 Western
I made a post good while back about one I bought my boy. He don't get to go much anymore but he did pull the trigger on a doe this year with it. He's shooting the 175 grain tipped SGKs out of it. Shot was 200 yards. Ribs were shattered 6-8" from the exit. It's a killer. I was impressed. Here's the exit.

I have a friend that is making a long range match rifle in this caliber. I hear it's a heck of a distance shooter too.

It did the job for sure.

That there is what we refer to as a Gob Hole!! Probably not much of a tracking job on that one.
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.
