We live in an instant gratification time. When we want something or need to do something we want things to happen then. When we want something from God it's no different. We want our prayers answered now. Sometimes God stays silent until you are ready to listen. Remember, everything in His time, not ours.

No one is perfect, we all fail God daily. The great thing is we have God's grace, mercy, forgiveness and His love. The best part is that cost you absolutely nothing, it's all free. It's free to you because Jesus Christ paid the price for you.

Thieves don't break into empty houses. The devil wouldn’t be attacking you so hard if there wasn’t something Holy inside you. Stand strong against the devil and ask God to stand with you.

Jesus said "Come to me who are weary". If you are tired, discouraged, weary, you have a place to turn and that is Jesus Christ. You don't need to try to do life on your own. Let Jesus help you and receive His perfect peace.

There are two ways to look at your life. The devil wants you to look back to your past and focus on the mistakes and sins. Jesus wants you to know you are forgiven and to look ahead to the bright future He has planned for you. Which will you choose?

As we begin Holy Week, let's remember that Jesus loves you so much that He marched right into Jerusalem knowing the pain and suffering He was about to endure. He did it for you and for me.

Have you ever thought about how much Jesus suffered for you and for me? He did it so we wouldn't have too, payment for our sins. The Bible clearly tells us that as Christians we too will be prosecuted and hated. If Jesus Christ suffered unimaginable pain and death, we also should not fear standing up for Him.

Wednesday of Holy week, the day Judas met with Jewish leaders to plot his betrayal of Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver. Today really isn't much different when we purposely betray Jesus by the way we choose to do things that goes against God's will and purpose for our lives without regret. Today, ask God to stand with you against the devil and ask for forgiveness when we fail Him.

Maundy Thursday, Holy week, the day that commemorates Jesus washing the feet of the disciples and eating of the last supper. Jesus showed that it is better to serve others knowing what was ahead of Him, His betrayal, torture and death. Today's society is all about me, me, me. There is very little serving others, helping and loving your neighbors. Today when you talk with your Heavenly Father, thank Him and ask for guidance to get back to what Jesus taught.

Good Friday, the day Jesus Christ was beaten and crucified on the cross to pay the price for our sins in our place. The meaning of Easter isn't the Easter bunny, it is Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him.

It's Sunday, when Mary arrived at the tomb the stone had been rolled away. When she entered to find Jesus's body not there. Then two Angels appeared and ask "Why do you seek the living among the dead. He is not here, HE IS RISEN ". God's son, Jesus rose from the dead, defeated death and the devil, so that we can have everlasting life with Him. If you don't Jesus Christ personally, then come to Him today. Happy Easter!

The devil cannot take away what God has given you. You may be in a place today where you think you have nothing, no one cares or there is no where to turn. You are mistaken, God has given you breath, given you life, given you blessings that you are not recognizing. The devil cannot take away what God has given you but he will block your vision, cloud your mind, take away your joy. Don't allow the devil to block what God has given you!

Conviction, when God places a burden on your heart and opens your eyes to your loss condition in your life. That's God telling you to repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. When you feel God's conviction, don't put it off, act on then.

Don't let your stumble keep you down. Look at it as every stumble is still a step forward. Stay focused on the destination God has laid out for you, not the bumpy road. Keep looking up, not down.

Sometimes when you pray for something and it doesn't happen you wonder why or get discouraged. Did you ever think that God not answering that particular prayer was God answering that prayer. He knows what we need better than we do and we don't realize that. Trust God even when the answer is no.
