He is risen!

Post by Shane37110 »

"And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you." Matthew 28:5-7 KJV

Happy Easter!
While the egg hunts and feast are fun remember on this morning 2023 years ago, on the third day of his crucifixion and death, Jesus arose from the grave and fulfilled the prophecy he was given once again. Rising from the grave and showing his nail pierced hands proved he was the son of God and all his words are true. He was saved from death that he died for us to take all our sins and let us live on in heaven as he promised.
We get too bogged down as modern people on Christmas. While the birth of Jesus is important, today, the day he arose and rolled the stone door of the tomb away is the greatest day of all. It was the proof to all that his words are true.
He arose! He arose just like he said he would.
May you all enjoy the blessings of the day. Just make sure those around you understand the importance of the day.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
Mark 16:2‭-‬7 KJV

Notice how the young man noted Peter "and Peter" for Peter had denied the Lord but now had been forgiven !! Only the Lord has compasion enough to be able to do that " Blessed Be The Lord " Happy Easter .

Luke 24:1-7
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, [a]and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ”

Thank you Jesus!
