Was able to hunt for a bit this morning. Didn't hear one bird gobble, and didn't see a bird either.

that happens. Seems like when I am just passin through or don`t have a shot gun with me I have to shoo the dang birds outta the way. Also they know when the season starts and ends.
I`m just here for the girl`s wet teeshirt and mud wrestling contest.
