I like the DPMS Orical. It's around $700. Has everything you could want and shoots great groups topped with a P223

My CMMG M4 LE is much less expensive than a Colt, but I have no complaints about it whatsoever. It is a quality brand and shoots very well.

I almost bought a DPMS Oracle, but I hated the furniture on it. Some are ok with it, but it felt like its quality was lacking and the handguard was way too fat for my liking.

I have my daughter a DPMS Panther and she shoots lights out with it, I mean can out shoot me even with it! She has put two shots in virtually the same hole @ 100 yds with that gun!

Another option would be to buy a complete lower and upper and put them together.

Like a Palmetto State armory complete lower and a Spikes midlength upper.
