Dove huntin

I didn`t go opening day. Kept watchin the weather channel andit kept sayin 100 cents rain Friday. So I made plans with my 89 year old father to take him to take care of some matters that concerned him. Mike243 went over to the forks and the weather cleared up and he had a great opening day. 15 dove by 4pm. Mike and I went to LaFollette yesterday. Rain / drizzled. No birds flying and the few that did basically skirted the field in the safety zones. Mike was able to get two and I was 0 for 4 shots. We finally called it around 12;30. Gonna try again Monday.

We went this afternoon and I ended up with 9. Shot more shells than I should have but had a good time.

Iffn ya dont shoot a case of hundret rounds for a 15 bird limit ya aint tryin

Nope. Only fired twice at high fliers. No birds and very fee hunters. Trying different field. Very few hunters. No birds.

Gave it up. Tried two different fields. No birds. Few hunters. May try Forks of River next weekend. Fired a total of 4 shots.
