Not going opening day that is. Looks to be hot and humid still, with about a 50% chance of rain. Not conducive to a good bow hunt IMO. It will, however, be a good time to get out and finish prepping some stands for the rest of the season, allowing the rain to wash away the scent I lay down out there.

Plannin on meeting up with Mike243 and Billy for some dove hunting over at Forks of the River. Also gonna checknit out for some possible deer huntin. I alwsys thought it was restricted to arry slingin or youth hunts or draw hunts. Now that I am living in my Mom and Dads place in K-town I thought I'd check it out. Checked regs hum .... Muzzleloader or shotgun same as state regulations. May add it to give other places a cooling period. Anybody ever hunt it.
