I am thinking about buying a new fire arm. Bought a cva wolf last year so I`m good to go on muzzle loader. Have a 7400 Rem. 30-06 that works and looks good. I am left handed and really like a simi. Me and bolt action don`t really like each other. Had a winchester 30-30 lever action. Worst piece of junk ever made. Traded it to my b-n-l for a 250 slant six for my ol dodge aspen. His son`s are still fightin over that gun. Neither one of em want it. Thinkin about gettin a shot gun. My ol mossy 500 is rough.Bought it in late 60`s early 70`s It has some age on it. Was stolen and hid in a barn under some hay for a couple of weeks. The barrel has rust and pit marks on it in spite of being cleaned and reblued. Thinkin about another 12 gauge with changeable chokes. If so I think I will do it afore Sept. ! for dove season. What you guys think.
Rifle or shot gun. can`t afford both.

I'd probably just figure out what type huntin I did the most of, and whether a rifle, or shotgun played the major role in it, then get that one.
