T.W.R.A. has issued a C.W.D. update. Basically they are saying it is here and spreading and they don't know how to control or stop it.

If the chart is correct it looks like there has been 168 that's tested positive so far. The bad part about it is they are only testing in those counties so there is a good chance it's in a lot more.

The link is no good for me, but TWRA tests deer in every county for CWD, and they have been testing every county for many years. As far as numbers, we have had much more than 168 cases since it was first detected in the state. There were around 400 during the 2019-2020 season alone.
