Didnt go as planned

Well our Christmas schedule is always full but we had a little change of plans this year. We got a call Monday night that my wifes grandfather fell and was rushed to the hospital. Turns out he broke his hip. We was there till 11 oclock monday night and then he had surgery Christmas eve morning. Everything went well and looks like he is going to have around 6 weeks of physical therapy.

Sometimes we haveto just go with the flow. My Dad is 92 and my stepmom is 89. Sometimes their health sets the agenda.
I am sorry he had the injury but am happy to hear he should recover nicely. Maybe things didn't go as planned but you were with family.

That flu ain't no joke! Wife had it and came down with pneumonia on top of that, similar to what I had a few years ago. It'll knock you down, then sit on you!
