1. Walking style bait. Most people call them all Spooks but my current favorite is a Strike King Sexy Dawg Jr.
2. Whacky Worm rig with a 4 or 5 inch senko style bait on it; weightless. Sweet Tater Pie or Watermelon Seed colors.
3. 1/2 oz spoon.
4. 1.5 size square bill crankbait
5. Hollow body frog for this time of yr through about late November. Black color.

That's about all I really fish with when bass fishing. On that 6th rod...I usually keep a couple extra rods in the boat just in case I decide to change what I am fishing for. I will keep a cat rod in there in case I run into some skipjack and decide to go after blue cats. I also keep a ultra light in the rod locker. I'm an opportunistic fisherman...if I happen to be up in the grass mats chasing bass with a frog, and start seeing giant bluegill swimming around, I will abandon the frog in a heartbeat.
