Fishing the Clinch

I have waded parts of the Clinch below Norris dam many times when the generators were off. I have canoed and floated some of it when the generators were off. I have fished from the bank. I have even fished a portion of it from a boat when generation was in progress. Yet there was a section I had not fished. So Mike243 and I fished that area when there was no generation. Now that section can go from 6ft to 1 ft in a heartbeat. We were careful to watch the depth finder. We were actually fishing a section of the River in down town Clinton. As we made our way up stream we passed the jail. A German Shepard in a pen saw and heard us and started barking. Naturally I barked back. So we traded doggie insults and Mike243 said if that dog comes across that fence I am turning us around and we are out of here. We made it up river as far as we could go go even using the electric trolling motor. We fished and floated back down to the launch site. We didn't catch many fish but we did something I had been wanting to do and had an enjoyable fishing trip. The picture shows the spot where we had to stop .
