Good luck buddy! I keep remembering a tcam pic I have of a split G2 10 pt I got a few years ago on 12-12. I would have been hunting that day but was knee deep in dirt and rock digging up my water line to repair a break! 😩

MUP evening hunt Dec 13th. Saw an antlered buck at about 100 yards, wasn't sure what he was as light was fading, but he had a nice white antler on the side I saw tho. Nose to the ground cruising. Just a thermal top and a long sleeve shirt!

It was a beautiful evening regardless! Walking out at dark is some of the best memories I have from way back in there. :)

Taking a pic of the sunset, one of the most tranquil and beautiful scenes in nature to me.

That's my thoughts almost each time I go . Not that I don't get excited but that is usually the night before morning comes then it's a different story . Pain dictates most things I actually do . Along with just growing old it's the pain from past injuries or just plain arthritis , add that with engery levels constantly decreasing makes your hunting times less and less . If a person didn't have great desire in the first place as you grow older you surely won't continue to drag your hindend out of a cozy bed to trudge through the dark , cold woods to hopefully kill a deer knowing once it's on the ground your work has just begun !!!

That's the truth right there buddy! I hope I've found the problem tho and I'm taking action to get back on track. Time will tell I guess .

I may be done for the season. Sinuses have been draining the past few days and now my ear is about to explode I think! 😵 Sinus infection I'm thinking, can't win for losing. 😩
