December 7 morning hunt. Just let a small 6 walk and let a decent 8 walk yesterday evening. Still holding out for the big boy.

Killed this guy this morning right after I took the selfie. He was walking parallel of two other bucks, they were all about 75 to 100 yards apart grunting. As crazy as it sounds I believe they were working together to push up a hot doe in the area. He’s a clean 6 at 4.5 years old, with 20 and 21 inch beams inside spread was 15 and had 5 inch bases above the bur I scored him out at 97 inches. By far my best 6 pt.

Thanks guys, yea they’re definitely on their feet I seen 4 6 pts and 7 does this morning. I try to only kill4.5 and older deer and he’s the only one Ive had pics of this year. I seen a true giant a week or so ago and I’ve let this six go twice because of the big one but I had an itchy finger this morning.

No buddy I’m not mounting him. He’s a good buck but I’m running out of wall space. They have to be 130 plus to mount. I’ll probably just skull mount him.

That’s my yard I hunt about 125 acres here. He made a scrape right there. I wish I could post the video. I’ve hunted here for 15 years and I’ve killed 3 bucks. I watch them come through a lot, I just like watching them. It may be frowned upon but if he had 150 inches on his head the pic would look different. Lol
