By far my best sit today. Not long after day break I had a doe come in. She didn’t like something and promptly left. Little while later I thought I heard two snorts from the creek I cross. Just in a few seconds I had a mom and fawn run across the food plot. Little bit after that I had a small buck come from where the doe and fawn went. He got almost to the creek crossing but wasn’t having it. He turned up the hill and hit the woods. Heard a car come around the road and in a minute here he came back across and outta sight. At 9 I was watching a doe after she came out of the small patch of woods on this place. She acted a bit strange but not really spooky. She would either look down toward the creek or behind her. Finally I caught movement. Seen it was a racked buckbit I wasn’t sure which one. I have a small 8 I really have no desire in killing and a 7 with tons of potential. Turns out it was the 7. Had him at about 90 yards in the open. Let him go and that was hard. By far the best buck I’ve let go. He’ll be a fine deer next year, but if I have to make a quick decision and can’t see his forked side he’s probably getting it lol. Just a great morning. This week should be hot.

We seen a couple small bucks. We were on Catoosa, and they didnt meet the minimum.
