Skinner WMA

Was just reading that TWRA is adding 12,000 acress to skinner WMA, that is right by where I hunt, looks like I'll have more opportunities for hunting next year.

Have you ever hunted there? Its close enough to hunt for me but I don’t know how the locals are for out of towners. Some of Overton county and fentress can be pretty rough lol

I own 60 acres right there by it, my neighbor there and I have cloud cameras watching our places and had trouble in the past but not lately.

I think it was last year there was some hunting dogs that got shot. Not sure on the whole story, but those people don’t mess around. My wife’s mother grew up in the eastern side and my step dads grandparents are buried to the north of 52. Just a different bunch lol. Not saying they aren’t good people. Just backwoods people lol. We went up that way Christmas Eve to visit my wife’s family.
