Our shop supervisor was out scouting yesterday and saw this guy. Keep a sharp eye out guys, they're out in force this year it seems. :shock:

While fishing once I noticed movement as I walked along the steep shale bank of a mining pit that I was at, it was a copperhead, coiled and moving back as if to strike. I jumped, almost legs first as I almost fell back, but looked around and it was dragging itself back from having struck at me. It rested in pieces.

Seems to be a lot of timber rattlesnake sightings this year.

Got clear some brush tomorrow to spray some weed killer, hope I don't see any rattlers.

Them things are bad this year! Buddy of mine got 3 with a Bush hog the other day in one field. Only good snake is a dead one!
