WC 844 powder?

Post by Wiley »

Y'all ever load any? Several years ago I bought a fair amount because it's said to be very, very close to H335. I'm low on H335 so I'm gonna load some 69gr SMK BTHP boolits with identical charges of H335 and WC 844 and see what my results are. Probably gonna set up the chronograph for these loads and check velocity but regardless of velocity I'm chasing 1/2 MOA or better.

I'm hoping the 844 works out but if not I have plenty of Varget and IMR 3031.

And I reckon I need to go ahead and kill one more deer for summer sausage so I can use my range. It's beside my food plot and I don't want to make the pine goats nervous before I kill one.
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.
