I just noticed something about my coffee drinking. I noticed that the pot has graduations on it at 4, 6, 8, 10 etc, but when I pour a regular cup of coffee(into a regular sized coffee mug) it takes 4 cups from the pot. By those calculations I may be drinking 12-16 cups of coffee each morning!

Look and see where the coffee maker was made. If its Japan or China your good. They are little people and they drink coffee from little cups.

Did you know that coffee is a clear liquid? I learned this after skipping my morning coffee on 3 occasions due to having a morning colonoscopy and I was restricted to clear liquids only. I complained to the nurse after the 3rd one that I REALLY needed my morning coffee and she said "coffee is a clear liquid"......... whodathunkit?

I didn't drink it before I went to the cardiologist about 4 years ago. He threatened me with my life(literally) if I didn't stop drinking Sundrops, so I finally quit, then started drinking coffee. He actually rolled his eyes when I told him

I didn’t drink it until I was in my 50’s.Wife would get up make a pot and I loved the smell of it. Told her I didn’t want to get in the “habit”. Didn’t start drinking until in my 50’s, after she had passed and the “twilight zone” !!

I quit for several years when acid reflux was driving me nuts and coffee would set it off when it had calmed down. Finally got over all that and eventually I started back on decaf. Now I drink Folgers Classic but I can't tell that caffeine does anything to me. I can drink a 12 cup pot and lay down and go to sleep. But I love the taste.
