I don't know if there's any punishment bad enough. It would have to be extremely long term, extremely painful and just to the brink of death but still kept living. They shall pay in the end.
And, the term "cruel and unusual punishment" when speaking of criminals treatment just makes my blood boil. What about cruel and unusual CRIMES?
