No, tasted like coon. Kinda like beef but really fatty. Makes some good gravy though!

Bears in my neck of the woods don't taste like a coon. But, bears in my neck of the woods are hitting the corn fields for a couple of months before bear season opens. That may make a difference.

yes, I have tasted coon before. I did not like it. Not even a little bit.
