Ain't that the truth!! I wish I could say I've only done it once, but I have had the displeasure of doing it a few times, always with the same cursing the inventor of the shin breaker!!

Yes it does hurt!
And I have taken two off in my lifetime and laid them in the back of the offending PU truck! I wanted to throw one through the back glass (as my daughter is the one who hit her shin). Gurrrrr!

Try doing it with a piece of surgical steel holding the shin together that you use to kick the hitch. Then my friend you understand pain.

T.L. I did that one time and fixed that problem with a head board and a foot board.
Now I bump my head on the head board and stub my toes on the corner of the foot board.
