Rem, when the gar start to spawn there will be 4 or 5 males stacked all around one female. So it's not that uncommon to get two with one shot, but I've only done it about 6 or 7 times.

That is a huge Buffalo. That thing has a trunk not a snout. :lol: I once shot a small gar and a carp on one arrow but never did it again. What lake do you shoot most your fish on.

We shoot mostly Chickamauga, but also Watts Bar and Guntersville.

Man I so want to get into this but I'm horrible with a bow and I don't know anywhere close

You shoot a lot bowfishing and hit some fish. So if anything it will help your bow skills.

Is that a buffalo?? I thought it was a grass carp?

She would have, but she had shot another fish and was getting it of her arrow . I took my only opportunity and shot this one. :P

It took about 10 mins to get to the boat, then my buddy stuck him again to seal the deal. :D

Chip That last pic Rue posted up is a grass carp look at the mouth. Than look the mouth on the Buffalo.
