Met up with Mike243 to do a little crappie fishin on melton hill. Well I am still 100% on catching crappie on Melton Hill. I did not catch a crappie yesterday. I got to studying on it and it occurred to me. As often as I have fished Melton Hill I have never caught a crappie out of that lake.

I am talking years of fishing that lake. I fished it with my brother for years. We took Mom several times. I have fished it with my father. I have even taken my daughter. They have taken crappie while fishing with me on Melton Hill.

My record still stands. Mike caught a few crappie yesterday while I was fortunate not to get skunked by catching a couple of very small bass. I have caught crappie at Norris,Douglas,Cherokee and even a few of the creeks around here. Yet, I have never caught a crappie from Melton Hill.

I will keep trying!
