Topofthefoodchain and ib ugly have been busy. Got to get up there and place some more support under it and paint it. Oh almost forgot guess we had better put in a winder or two and maybe a door. Right now it `s just a big wooden shipping crate.

Nice ct! How are you gonna do the winders? I'm about to cut some holes in a shipping crate myself for some, and not really sure how I'm gonna do it jes yet.

I will probably do like I did the other shack. Use plexiglass and cut a notch on the edge of 1 x 1`s. and use screws to mount the 1by`s to the the shack. Set the plexiglass in the groves top and bottom that way the plexiglass will slide the length of the 1 by`s. Front window will probably be hinged to swing either in or out. Haven`t decided on that yet. Make a small cut along the entire length of the corner of a 1 by and then cut back into the cut. This will remove the edge of the one by leaving a groove for the plexiglass to slide in. Make your cuts jusst deep enough for the plexiglass to set in. Sand the grove smooth so the plexiglass slides easily. Mount the cut/ groved side to the wall top and bottom to hold the plexiglass. Basically you are taking the corner off the 1 by just deep enough for the plexiglass to set in and slide. I used precut plexiglass from homedepot or lowes and cut the openings to fit the size of the plexiglass.

Simple, yet effective. I like it. I have some Plexiglas from work leftover from some projects and will have to cut it as well. I suppose I need to score the Plexiglas then break it. Sawing would be rough I'd say.

The precut plexiglass I got from lowes and used in the other shack is 18 by 24. I will use same in this one. Right now topofthefoodchain and ibugly are doing the work. I am not allowed to pick up any thing over 8 pounds. anything heaver than a gallon of milk.
