Ok back in the summer I shot some and was getting a little over 2600fps with 43g N110. 50 degrees and was getting 2398 2396fps would the cooler temps slow it down that much? ,i shot 3 with 44g 2465 2462fps .might stick with the 44 lol

It was 50 wed dont remeber how hot in the summer but prob 70-80 maybe

Wow that's drastic!
I'm not sure the answer but the would think that could play a big part in accuracy.

going to change my scope to a less complicated, it is awesome for the range and fields but may be throwing me off in the close encounters in the woods , dont know if I can get scrooge to let some $ loose this close to Christmas or I will have to pull another from some thing

put a old fixed power on it and it shoots great at about 45y ,went out with with just it loaded to shoot it at 100y to make sure it was on for my dump hunt Friday and Saturday,walked behind the barn and set my shooting stick down against the barn and decided to carry my rifle out to set up target,went around the horse trailer and 2 deer bolted,1 up thru the woods on other side of the fence and 1 on my side that went up the hill thru the field,100y or so at a full run and caught the last rib high and came out center of ribs on other side. fist size going in and 1" coming out. had no idea a deer would be in the field,I have watched it for the last 2 weekends at some point and time. I would rather be lucky as good lol. 240g xtp moving close to 2500fps. I feel better about it now than I did shooting the 250g shockwaves
