Tenth Annual Young Sportsman Quail Hunt
The TWRA and the Knoxville Quail Forever chapter will sponsor a youth quail hunt at McGhee-Carson Unitb of the Tellico Lake WMA on March 5th. yhe hunt is from 8 to 5. Ages 10 to 16 that have passed a TWRA hunter safety class. The hunt will be limiterd to the first 40 who register and have a non hunting adult to accompany them. There will be four fields where quail have been released. A dog and handler will be provided. The hunter must provide hie or her own gun and shells. Lunch will be provided. There will also be orther activities such as skeet and 22 target shooting.
