Encore with 100 grains of pyrodex pellets and 290 grain xtp's. It's deer killing combo for sure.

TC Encore .50 cal 110 grains of Blackhorn 209 with 250 grain Barnes TEZ projectile. Chronoed at 2,011 fps.

I'll be using a .50 cal CVA wind river magnum with a 3x9x50 Bushnell scope shooting 90 grain loose pyrodex with 300 grain SST sabot

I usually alternate between a CVA Kodiak Mag, and my ol trusty Knight American. Pyrodex for many years, but switched over to some BH209 last year. Need to do some shooting for sure.

Man, look at all the members who had posted on this thread! I'm hoping to use some BH209 and the same 260 gr lead conical bullets with harvester black sabots.

Savage smokeless custom topped with a vx5.

Also have a cva scout conversion that I’m gonna get right. It’s more for my daughter/woods hunting than a field gun. Topped with a vortex hs
