Trout stocking may be in trouble

Not to be an alarmist but the trout stocking program in some of the tail waters may be in trouble. It is something to keep an eye on. Even you guys in middle and west tn should be aware of this. If you have not fished the tail waters of these rivers you ought to. It is something for just about every kind of fisher man or woman. Kids enjoy it because he fish are not all that hard to catch. Even with the slot limit a take home limit is usually obtainable.I am in the process of teaching a third generation. I hope they can pass this along to their third generation.

Curtis, according to the article we are good till 2016 and then the temporary funding will stop. Hopefully a source of funding can be agreed upon.
