Cooked us out this morning
We bumped two going to the blind this morning. Had my buddy bird doggin the other side of the ridge, hoping to push something our way. But we had a temperature inversion this morning. It was waaay hotter on top of the mountain than at the bottom. Got into the blind well before daylight and my thermometer read 63 degrees already. The sun came up and even the squirrels went under ground.

It did get warm fast at our place as well. First time I've felt I actually had to pack a deer with ice to get it to the processor.
