The only kind of blades and knifes I make

Post by in the dog house! »

I make flint blades and also I use some glass. The big red one is made from glass from a marble factory. It's about 8" long.

These are all "blanks" They haven't been pressure flaked yet. I will notch them later and the pressure flaking cleans up the edges and makes the uniform little grooves in them.

Some good looking knappin. My brother use to knap points, blades and scrapers brfore he passed away. I never got to get him to teach me. Sure wish now that I had. There is an art to it. Keep on knappin.
I`m just here for the girl`s wet teeshirt and mud wrestling contest.

Yes it takes lots of practice and lots of material to work through ( and mess up and break ) to learn. I learn something every time I make one.
