Little Tractor
This will be the last season for my riding mower so I'm thinking about getting me a small tractor to mow with and to maintain my land with. What do you guys recommend?

It's not really the problems they have. It's more about if they do have a problem it's very expensive to repair. They're proud of their parts.WG Taxidermist wrote:owlcreek wrote:Bota, john Deere is a money pit.

If I was in the market for one right now WG I would look at a Mahindra....I think they are pretty good tractors for the money and none of that emissions shut down mess that the green tractors have now.WG Taxidermist wrote:This will be the last season for my riding mower so I'm thinking about getting me a small tractor to mow with and to maintain my land with. Re: Little Tractor
In 2010 I bought a 29 hp Cub Cadet/Yanmar after looking at JD and Kabots. same engine and tranny that JD was using at the time. I saved about $3000 and have not had the first problem out of it. I use 5ft implements with it with no issues. Highly recommend, only thing if I had it to do all over would be I would have bought a 40 hp. It came with a front end loader and a belly mower. I would not buy one that is not 4x4, it has to have a front end loader as well. Carry on.
