Little Tractor

This will be the last season for my riding mower so I'm thinking about getting me a small tractor to mow with and to maintain my land with. What do you guys recommend?

Don't own one, but I look at kubota.

This. A friend of mine has 2. A 40 hp and a 70hp. Dang good tractors. Even the smaller ones excellent little work horses

I've heard that John Deere has had their problems but my wifes uncle has ad one for nearly 20 year and has never done anything but maintenance to it.

I've heard that John Deere has had their problems but my wifes uncle has ad one for nearly 20 year and has never done anything but maintenance to it.

It's not really the problems they have. It's more about if they do have a problem it's very expensive to repair. They're proud of their parts.

If I was in the market for one right now WG I would look at a Mahindra....I think they are pretty good tractors for the money and none of that emissions shut down mess that the green tractors have now.

My father in law has a Mahindra and loves it. I haven't priced those yet.

In 2010 I bought a 29 hp Cub Cadet/Yanmar after looking at JD and Kabots. same engine and tranny that JD was using at the time. I saved about $3000 and have not had the first problem out of it. I use 5ft implements with it with no issues. Highly recommend, only thing if I had it to do all over would be I would have bought a 40 hp. It came with a front end loader and a belly mower. I would not buy one that is not 4x4, it has to have a front end loader as well. Carry on.
