Purdy bucks buddy! I would post some of mine but the pics are HUUUGE and are almost too big to view! WG, any luck with Luke on getting pics to resize a little better?

We are working on it. The problem is that the add-on that does our picture posting is no longer supported so to correct it we have to find another one to install in it's place. We just haven't found one yet.

My daughter was 4 months old here. She is 12 now, I hope next weekend we can pose with her deer! She is fired up about next weekends hunt already.

Unfortunately I dont have the pic anymore, but my favorite pic of all is my youngest sons first bow kill. It was a 4 point that he scouted and hung his own stand. Tracked it after the shot. Field dressed it by himself. And drug it out to the road. It was literally the proudest and the saddest time for me. I succeeded in teaching him and yet he had become a hunter so there was nothing left for me to teach. With that said, here's a pic of 2 years ago of one of my grandsons first deer that I was proud to be a part of. Image

I have been fortunate to have been able to kill a lot of deer on my 20 acres both bucks and does. Here are 3 of the biggest bucks.Image

No sir I wish I had got him with it but I killed him with a Marlin 30-30 with iron sights. That is just a convenient place to hang that ol recurve.

B.W. I do not want to take anything away from that hunt. Your 12 year old became a hunter but I 'll guarantee you if anyone ask him he is still learning from the ol man.

Couple more ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looking back I’ve killed a bunch of deer, a truck load of 6 points and am a sorry excuse for a turkey hunter. But my biggest joy has been taking a new hunter to the woods and watching them experience the thrill of closing the deal.

JCodd just said what I am sure most of us get the most enjoyment from. Taking a new or young hunter and passing hunting on to them.
