Having a hard time getting these things to eat corn so I can trap. Finding them under white oaks instead.

Ive tried to eat there several times. The food just doesn't sit with me. Im much better of with potted meat.

I went out this morning for a quick peek at a possible stand site and to my surprise i found a fresh rub and a scrape close together. I guess the cool mornings have them fired up a little. I had to leave my phone on the charger or i would have posted some pics.

They are thick here now. i went almost a decade without seeing one around here. They make those big mounds in the fields for me to crash my equipment into. Ive been using conibears in the hole entrances.

I forgot about that. I may go in the mornings. I will be using a 22 browning t bolt. I have to keep them thin around the house. They are bad to tear into my attic and they chewed my wires up at my garage.
