Model 788 7mm-08....Still have it but it's not in shooting condition....I've had it for nearly 40 years and it'll stay with me. I wish I could get it in shooting condition though to pass down to my grandchildren if I ever have any....It was a great shooting gun when it would shoot and killed a ton ...

I work on the boo boo bus in Nashville today. Someone killed a nice buck out of Sumner Co today. Saw it on the back of a toyato 4runner getting off of i65 south at Briley/Dickerson pike around 2pm.

Taking the sling off my daughter's ML to clean it and unscrewed the pin a little too far, and BLING! When my lil brother was about 5 the neighbors saint Bernard grabbed him by the head and shook him like a rag doll in our front yard. I was outside and so was the adult neighbor. All of us watched it happen and that was the last time we saw that dog.

We used to run dogs all the time. Hardwood competition hunted alot. I think he went every single night for 3 months straight. Poor old dog didn't have toe nails. When the last hound died wrapped us up.
