Hunting Accident Stories

On November 15,2012 I broke my right ankle while deer hunting. I was walking down a steep hill when I step in a rock hole and fell. I was lucky enough to have cell service but he wasn't able to find me. I watched him drive right by where I was. I called my wife and left a message on the answer machine telling her what happened and to not call 911. It took me an hour to crawl up the mountain, stand up using a branch and walk to my truck. My ankle was so tore up and swollen, that I had to wait two weeks before he could do surgery.

A friend of mine a few years back fell from his tree stand after he unhook his safety belt to get down. He is now paralyzed from his mid section down, but he still hunts.
