I'm always ready for deer season, but dread Winter coming right after.

I'd fish every day if I didn't have to work and be responsible!!

This will be my first bow season after a 4-5 year layoff. To say I'm looking forward to it is a major understatement. I can hardly wait.

See I can deal with the cold of deer season but, the summer heat and insects are reasons I don't go fishing in the summer so much.

I'm already over the heat of summer, and summer isn't even here yet, is it?

Agreed. the older I get, the more I like winter.

Honestly, not that excited about deer season. Seems like just yesterday the last one ended. Heck, I just took my cameras down last week!

It's on my mind but I'm not excited about it yet.
I'm probably going to give up my good honey hole this year. Not worth the hassle. If I don't find a place I will be sitting season out.

I can't really get excited about deer season until it cools off. Like most of you, I hate hot weather. It's seems I can't get naked enough to get comfortable, and when I do, the uptight people complain! I can't win!

For those that say it is too hot to fish......come on up to the clinch with me! If you want the full wintertime experience in the heat of the summer, leave the waders at home!
Suck it up.....buttercup!

Same here, and btw, I've always heard that the older we got the more we would hate the colder temps? Ain't happening to this old codger yet for sure!

Retiring to Florida is not my idea of fun. Sounds like Hell! I'll retire to northern Wisconsin! Or maybe Alaska!
