ANY REFRIDGERATION TECHS?

I pulled my water filter on my Whirlpool refrigerator the other day, since then I cant get the full amount of water out of the dispenser on the front. Also my ice cubes look hollow. It is not air, I have drained water by the gallons. I have changed these out for 17+ years without not one problem. Before changing it out it was working fine, any ideas from you awesome, smart peeps.

Filter housing is bad,oring gets screwed up , reckon its in the toe grill and it twists to remove?

Bout $350 or so for sears to come change it

O-ring on the filter or in the housing that it plugs into? You push a button and it pops out.

Filter housing is bad, orings gets rotted and when you change filter they get messed up, most time they will leak water when the filter is out

Easy to change, turn water off take line loose from back and forth on water valve and it will pull out from the front, push the ring in where the lines plug in while pulling line out of valve or housing

You cant change the orings in the housing have to replace the whole thing, new dosent come with a button cover , push tabs on the side will let the button come out and just swap them
