On a field. Sept. 1st. Be on us afore ya can take aim. Gotta decide where I'm gonna go shoot up a hundred box of 12 gauge shells and come home empty handed. Love shootin at dove. Cant hit em but love shootin at em.

I wish I had a place too, never been. I've only been quail huntin' once, kilt 4 with my Ithaca Model 51 Magnum. Got laughed at for bring a full choke to a bird hunt, the only shotgun I had when I was a teenager, but I killed more than the rest out in that field.

What choke for a 12 or 20 gauge, I have a Rem 870 12 gauge 24" barrel and a 11-87 20 that has a 21" barrel I just bought the 20? New to bird huntin, except turkey.

You guys lookin for a place to dove hunt. Do what I do look at TWRA and checked out WMA or leased fields in your Region. Yes you may have to drive for an hour to a field. It may be crazy crowded or there may be nobody there. There may or may not be dove flying. Wont know until you go.

Turbo6.7 I am not an expert and have not shot your shot guns. My suggestion modified choke to start with. Change if you think you need to but start with the modified.
