I’m not sure. But I think you can hold a blanket up as a shield and slowly ease in and finally cover the trap with said blanket. After that, I don’t know how you getting it out lol

I dunno. When we were kids my brother and his best friend tried to skin a skunk that had not sprayed. They did good until my brother dropped the skunk when his buddy was making the last cut.

I've heard the blanket trick too, slowly put a blanket over the cage and the skunk won't spray in the dark cause it doesn't know where to spray.
Disclaimer: I have never tried this, just heard it said, try this method at your own risk. YMMV.

I would pay owlcreek to pick it up by the tail and remove it sense he knows what he is doing and won't get sprayed.

This and don't shoot it at all unless you want to clean up the smell. And yes video it. When releasing it, hold the door up enough to prop it open with a stick.

I've shot them in the head and they just dropped in their tracks but as their muscles relaxed, watch out as that smell starts oozing out.

I have done this before, when I was younger and faster and have never been sprayed.
