I'm ok with it . Those were just some team names I came up on the fly with but anything would have been fine .

Finally got to go on this evening but a windy day produced no deer . Worked 14 - 12 hour day stretch and 7-12 day stretch so not much bow hunting . Couldn't hunt my primary stand because of the wind because it's on top but here is the stand location . Bucks tend to run the top but I would have been happy with a slick head .

Went once more before bow season closes and made it to the top stand on my little place . Great morning but I think I ran the deer off two beds right below my stand . Lots of buck sign but seen no deer so I think I'll leave it alone until maybe next week .

Decided to hunt the property at the plant since I haven't been off to hunt there . We can only hunt weekends and it's bow only . Oh yeah right after first light I took a picture of the hunting area and ran off a buck that had slipped in unaware so my picture taking may have to wait until I'm about ready to get down if I don't forget it . That's the only live deer I've seen while hunting and I ran him off ,go figure in for a long dry season it seems .

Should have been another buck Zach but I missed a decent buck this morning on my little place . Dang doe came in right after first light right under my stand started to take her but she kept looking behind and then out steps a fawn . So she's gets a pass but each them keeps looking back towards the way they came me thinking another fawn nope he's s decent buck , comes around my tree looks straight up to me as the doe had . The doe went down the ridge kinda spooked sticking her head up trying to get a wiff . Well back to the buck I'm kinda handcuffed not wanting to move until he steps behind a tree heading towards the doe so then I raise my gun up trying to get him in the scope and what else the scope is blurred from the rain I guess but trying to get a shot off I clipped a twig and shot under the buck . Sorry guys would have been nice to kill another off my land been awhile . The pic should show my despair !!
