Looks like those slanteyed bastages infected me. I took my weekly prophylactic dose of ivermectin on Monday. Started mild symptoms on Tuesday. Lost smell and better part of taste today, Thursday. Took 1/2 dose of ivermectin Wednesday and will take another Friday. I have a test in transit for evaluation. My wife's employer won't pay her unless someone in the home has a positive test. I called her earlier to tell her that I destroyed the water closet and didn't smell a thing. So until my test comes back, she is spreading it at her work. Apparently it isn't omicron because it isn't known for loss of senses.
I'm concerned for my mother who lives with us. My sister won't let her stay with her until it's over.
People like that is why hell was born.

Dang buddy! Prayers just asked for a quick bout with it and no spreading to your other family members! Isolate yourself best you can in the other end of the house, I did and none of my family caught it while I was down.

IMHO they have kept fine tuning this thing until they have come up with a version that ivermectin doesn't work on.

I'm yet to have a fever over 100. My wife takes ivermectin with me and she is still working. I think going hunting Monday morning gave it a head start on my immune system. I'm already off work til 1/4 so I'm not getting out in the cold or giving it any opportunity to kick my butt.
