Uploading photos is easy now. Toddyvol has done a great job with new software. You don't have to use photobucket. After you ad what you want to say simply scroll down to the next box and click Chose File. Select your photo, then click Add the file then Submit. Once you have your photo uploaded, you can click on the photo for an enhanced view and can also be done easily from your cell phone. The photo below shows you how to do it.

It's set to 120x120. Go much larger and it could screw up the page size. For now the best option for avatar resizing is to use a http://www.shrinkpictures.com

Click create avatar on the left side, browse for you picture that you have saved and enter 120..then click resize.

I was just trying to post a pic from my phone. Not worrying about an avatar just yet. So I still need an intermediate site to size the pics before I can post them?

Posting from a phone may not work because the file format is completely different.

You can post any size you want as long as it's the right file format. The forum should auto-resize the pic. It must be a .jpg, .gif, or .PNP. If it's another format then you will probably have to go to another site or resize it with photo software.

I was "choosing file", then "add this file", and that was my hangup. I just "choose file", then "submit now" and it works fine for me from pc or phone now.
